Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use as few as we can. This page lists them and lets you choose.
Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They keep you signed in to your dashboard, protect forms and sign-in from abuse, remember your plan choices in the calculator, and remember your cookie choice.
- WordPress sign-in cookies (wordpress_logged_in, wordpress_sec): keep you signed in; they end when you sign out or after inactivity.
- usub_consent: remembers your cookie choice for 6 months.
- Calculator and chat storage (your browser’s local storage): your plan choices and chat session, so you do not lose your place.
- Security (Cloudflare): cookies that tell people from bots and protect the site.
- Payments (Stripe): set on Stripe’s checkout page to prevent fraud.
Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They are off until you accept.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): counts visits and shows which pages and sources bring people to us. Provided by Google.
- Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk): shows anonymised recordings and heatmaps of how pages are used. Provided by Microsoft.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies at this time. If that changes we will ask for your permission first.
Your choice
You can change your mind at any time with the button above, or with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may then not work. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies.
